Hi loves! How are you? We are great, enjoying Bali to the fullest. As you know, we started our trip in Nusa Dua, which was an amazing start of our island life. Our second destination was Sanur. It was not the first time here, we visited Sanur two times before, and we really like it. It’s amazing for sunrise and we remember joining a sunrise-yoga class on the beach so we really wanted to do that again.
This time we stayed at The Pavilions, a little villa resort in the centre of Sanur. The villas are designed to confer the utmost comfort, with a variety of lounging options indoors and out. Our favorite spot was at the main pool. Even tough we had our private pool, it was low season and it seemed that everyone preferred to do tours our stay in their own villa, since the main pool was our own. Loved it. There was butler service and the staff was very kind. Nothing we asked for was too crazy and they were very helpful. One day we had our breakfast at the pool, and that was the best day.
When you check in at The Pavilions, you will be welcomed with not only with a drink, also with a 15 minutes foot massage. We really loved it! Such a good idea and helps you feel relaxed from the very beginning. Every hotel should do that.
The resort is not on the beach-side, however, they offer a complementary shuttle service to the beach, where there are sunbeds from the resorts, worked perfect for us.
As we told you before, we are not huge fans of having dinner in the hotel that we are staying in. Dinner is a perfect chance to get some local food at a local restaurant, however, after reading lots of amazing reviews about the food at The Pavilions, we decided to try it one night. We had the most amazing Balinese dinner with the best dessert ever. That was the night that we had Dadar Gulung for the first time, and that was so yummy! It’s a traditional pandan pancake filled with coconut magic.. It’s a crime if you don’t try it! We have tried that dessert 6 times already somewhere else, and we never get such a good taste again.. would defiantly go back for that dish!
If you planning to visit Bali, you should for sure put Sanur on your list. And The Pavilions is for sure the place to be, HERE!
