Hi loves! How are you doing? We are doing great, always on the run, which gives you so little time to take care of things (like writing blogs..) so sorry about that. We have answered all your dm’s tho 🙂
We came back from Mallorca some time ago, but we really NEED to share our experience at Ecocirer with you ❤ It was such a magical place. We have visited Mallorca a few times already and we really love the island. We have always been staying near to Palma, since (we thought) it was the best place to stay. Oh we were so wrong about that! This time, we spend our little getaway in Soller, a vey cute little city, north from Palma and just a 30 minutes drive to the city. The town is super cute, with nice cafes and restaurants, a beautiful beach and a small port (and very nice cafes!). The best thing about the town is the little hotel we have stayed at. We are huge fans of small scale hotels, with a personal approach. In Ecocirer, we were welcomed by the owners, an amazing couple (Barbara and Marin) who really runs this place so well. The hotel is so well decorated, very stylish en modern. There are six rooms and they are all different. We had the best room for sure, since there was a huge rooftop terrace ❤ We spend so many nights drinking wine up there, haha! The best part of our stay was for sure the breakfast. Their philosophy is plant based nutrition, fresh food and locally soured ingredients, and we absolutely loved it. Every breakfast was very creative, never had the same thing twice, and you tasted the freshness of all ingredients. They even have their own garden, where almost all fruit and veggies grow. It’s not always that easy to make vegan and vegetarian food SUPER YUMMY, but yes, Barbara did it every morning again. She surprised us with the most tasty and really good looking food. We had a rainbow for breakfast every single day, haha! At Ecocirer, they believe that eating a good variety colors, with all the green and purple tones, is a powerful nutrition which that will make you happy, healthy and strong. We totally agree! However, you can’t be not happy at such a beautiful place, a few day stay made us feel very healthy and energized. Just what we needed! From now on, we are doing our best to keep it as healthy as possible back home 🙂 The best feeling you can have.
Barbara and Martin really proofed to us that it is possible to be vegetarian and even vegan. We try to eat as little fish and meat as possible, but we just love food to much to stop with that. And many times, when we order vegan food in restaurants, it’s really disappointing: faint taste, boring dishes etc. Not at Ecocirer! We had one of the best breakfasts ever (And we travel A LOT) and it was totally vegan! We are huge fans.
If you guys are planning a visit to Mallorca, you NEED to check out Ecocirer HERE! ❤
Hi loves ❤ Beaches, sea and olive oil. That’s what crossed our minds when thinking of the Mediterranean Islands.
Good morning! How are you? We are great, enjoying the sun in the South of France and getting as much work as possible before we head to Denmark. Last time we visited north part of Europe was last month, our culinary trip to Hamburg ❤ We went there for a two starred restaurant Jacobs to have an amazing dinner experience. We heard a lot about Thomas Martin’s cuisine and the restaurant looked so incredibly chique that we just had to visit. The restaurant was truly amazing, we loved the interior and it’s huge terras. The weather was amazing, however not amazing enough to have dinner outside.. Such a shame since there is an amazing view of the Elbe, at least we could enjoy our champagne outside ❤ The dinner itself was absolutely outstanding, the dishes were very creative and the different flavors made quit an impression on us. The best part for us, as you might know, is the dessert ❤ This one was really good, but what came after was AMAZING. There was a huge friandises stand, which had moren than 20 different chocolates on it. So much choice and it was the best part of our Hamburg trip for sure. To make our dinner complete, we decided to stay at the hotel for two nights, and oh that place was absolutely gorgeous. The 5 star hotel is a sanctuary in the midst of the city. It is located in a vert chique neighborhood, and of course with an amazing view of the Elbe ❤ We were welcomed with amazing snacks (read chocolates of all kind) and a bottle of chaamagange, which made our stay start perfectly. There is a little spa and a gym, which we can really appreciate, when traveling fulltime. The interior ws very stylish and classic at the same time, and we felt very much home at Louis c. Jacob ❤ The one thing you should be afraid of, is that you might want to stay at the hotel and you will miss the highlights of the city, haha! That’s what happened to us. But we guess that we have to go back and visit the city again soon. If you guys are heading to Hamburg, you need to check it out HERE! Have a lovely day!
Hey hey! Good morning from Nice ❤ How are you doing? We are great, very very busy with 1 million things at the same time, but still having fun. You guys are always asking us about Bali, which is pretty funny, since we have there only a few times. And every time we visit, we make sure to spend a few nights at the Kunja in Seminyak. We must have read different blogposts about it on our old blog, but here we go again. The Kunja is a boutique villa park, in the heart of Seminyak (pretty busy but very trendy part of Bali). There are just 18 villa’s and we love how small the resort is. It makes you fee very special. The villas itself are incredible, very spacious and well occupied. A great pool, very comfy lounge area, a kitchen and a private bathroom with every bedroom ❤ We had a 3 bedroom villa and had 3 bath tubes, that’s goals, right? Mostly we travel with the three of us (we bring out photographer everywhere), and now it was fun to be with a bigger group, especially when you have a lounge area where you all can have breakfast together and watch Netflix when you don’t feel like going out. It was just perfect to spend time with our friends, and also knowing that you have some privacy, having a huge bedroom for yourself. It was just super relaxing.
Breakfast is always our fave moment of the day when we are at The Kunja. As you might have seen on our stories, we had a private butler during our stay, who came in every morning and prepared the breakfast for everyone, and ours was the kindest man on the island ❤ So we were happy to see him every morning again.
We always have a great time at the Kunja and every time we check out we think, this was way too short, next time we need at least one extra night.
When you guys are heading to Bali soon, you should definitely check out The Kunja Villa’s HERE! Have a lovely day and talk soon ❤
Hi loves! How are you? We are great! Had so many questions about our stays from you guys, haha! So sweet. It is true that we never stay too long at the same place (even though we loooove all the places we choose), we never travel for longer than two months in a row, and we think it’s such a shame to spend two weeks or so at the same place. We love to discover the resort and the area around and after a few days it feels too much like home we guess. Where we stayed twice this time, was Villa and Casa Sintra. Both villas are brand new (they opened last year!), they feel so clean and untouched. You see that they are very well taken care of. Villa Sintra is a 1-badroom villa, and we stayed there in the beginning of your trip. It’s a little villa, with a private pool and an amazing kitchen an living space. We had tons of work to do on our computers and we couldn’t think of a better place to work and chill at the same time. At the end of our Bali trip, two of our friends joined us, and we were very excited to show them Villa Sintra, which is a 2-badroom villa, with a bigger kitchen and bigger living area, just perfect for 4 persons.
The villas are located in a pretty busy area of Legian, with a lot of restaurants and bars (loved it!!) and very close to the beach ❤ It was just a 5 min walk, through little shops and cafes. Even though it is located in the heart of Legian, the villa’s itself are very quiet and peaceful. It is called ‘a peaceful oasis nestled amidst lush tropical gardens in the heart of the bustling Double Six precinct on the border of Legian and Seminyak’, a perfect description of this little paradise. We are huge fans of such hidden pearls where you can spend some time on a busy beach and 5 minutes later, you are totally along in a very beautiful and quiet environment ❤ There is nothing better than relaxing on the sun lounges at your private pool after a busy day of shopping or sightseeing, right? The best thing about Villa and Casa Sintra that the villas are very affordable! The villas are very luxury and offer a haven of serenity and style with thoughtful extras designed to make your Bali getaway an exceptional and unforgettable experience. You can check them out HERE!
Hi loves, how are you doing today? We are a little behind with our blogs, due to internet connection on Gili Island.. Was not the best idea to spend more than a week over there, since it was not even really possible to upload instagram stories, haha!
Hi loves! How are you? We are great, enjoying Bali to the fullest. As you know, we started our trip in Nusa Dua, which was an amazing start of our island life. Our second destination was Sanur. It was not the first time here, we visited Sanur two times before, and we really like it. It’s amazing for sunrise and we remember joining a sunrise-yoga class on the beach so we really wanted to do that again.
Hi babes! How are you? Hope everything’s great!
We have been flying again. This time a short flight from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur. A few years ago, we did the same trip and we did it by bus, since it’s only 5 hours and it seemed like less time waste than flying (with traveling to the airport, being there 2 hours before, arriving in KL Airport which is far from the city), however this time, the busses were leaving at 8:00 am or later, and it seemed like a waste of our morning and since we were staying at Banyan Tree, we wanted to arrive as early as possible. Super early flight it was!
We have been to KL many times and we are not sure what it is with this city but we LOVE it! The atmosphere is so chill and the people are kind, the prices are low and it feels like a very big and modern place, so we love everything about it. Never skip it, cause KL is amazing, but oh gush, it’s so HOT here! ☀
Luckily we are able to enjoy KL a lot from the cool swimming pool we have in our hotel. We. Love. This. Hotel. ♥️ We are staying at the Banyan Tree in the central Bukit area. It’s like a fairytale! Everything is so chic and well organised. Our room has a view on the KL Tower. This high tower shows off an awesome light show when it’s dark, so it seems like a little disco party in our room every night (we love it!). The view is just AMAZING. And we love how they have put our bathtub in front of it! That’s really our style of bathing ✨ We stayed for just three days and we have both been in bath 4 times already. Can’t help it.We loved the restaurant here, called Horizon Grill. This actually is the highest restaurant in KL, how cool! 😱 It is located at 57th floor and besides the view on the Patronas twin towers, the food was so good. The chef prepared all kinds of amazing dishes for us, and we were very surprised by every single one of those. We started our meal with oysters, fresh tuna and a salat. The codfish is one of the dishes you need to try and the ribeye steak is to die for. We are not huge fans of staying in for dinner (since we love to discover everything about the cities we travel to), but here, you need to have your dinner at least once ❤
The spa treatment was one of our absolute highlights here. Nothing better than a 90 minutes full body massage, right? It was the best massage we ever had 🙌🏼 And after our treatment, we had some snacks and a very yummy tea with an amazing view on the 53rd floor. Just perfect!
We were so sad we had to leave this place, because it was one of those luxury hotels you don’t ever want to leave. We will now continue our Asia trip to Indonesia, where lots of other great hotels are waiting for us.
If you are planning a trip to KL, you NEED to check out Banyan Tree HERE! Talk to you in Bali, loves!
